Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous horse experience?

No - you will be provided with guidance and support to to work with the horses in a way that feels right and safe for you?

Does Equine Assisted Therapy involve horse riding?

Sessions are mainly facilitated on the ground in connection with horses, however mounted experiences can be offered where suitable for the purposes of supporting therapeutic and learning goals.

What do I need to bring/wear?

Participants must wear suitable/safe fully enclosed footwear, sun safe clothing including a hat, weather suitable clothing eg: warm jacket, raincoats and asked to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. 

What if I need to cancel?

We appreciate as much notice as possible, please let us know as soon as you can.

Do you work with NDIS participants?

Yes, we are able to provide services for plan and self managed participants.
